Opportunities

• The Port of Townsville $50,000 Community Fund is open now for applications. Get info
• Townsville City Council’s 2023 Our Townsville event will be held on 10 and 11 June, including zones for ‘Our Environment’ and ‘Our Reef’. Stallholders can apply here. Note that the Council’s biennial EcoFiesta event will not be held in 2023 but is planned for 2024.

Upcoming events

• March 1 and 2: Townsville ReefClean monitoring events with Tangaroa Blue. Get info
• March 5: CleanUp Australia Day at Bushland Beach, hosted by partners Townsville City Council with OzFish and Tangaroa Blue. Get info
• March 7: Public session of the Port of Townsville’s Channel Upgrade Independent Technical Advisory Committee. Get info
• March 16: Ocean Film Festival screening at Townsville Civic Theatre. The Partnership team will be in attendance promoting our annual Report Card. Get info

• May 18 and 19: The 2023 Australian Coastal Restoration Network symposium, held at James Cook University. Get info
